Student Services

The Nogales Unified School District Student Services Department is responsible for many aspects of a student’s life from start to finish. Beginning with registration of new students, we handle all of the students' records and previous student records' requests. Our office handles:

  • open enrollment applications
  • all special education procedures
  • compliance issues
  • maintenance of student records
  • gifted education
  • student health concerns
  • questions regarding Medicaid
  • child abuse and neglect awareness and reporting
  • Child Find
  • Individualized Education Plan

Our goal is to provide services and information that support and assist our students, parents, and staff. Our students come first in all we do.

The Nogales Unified Exceptional Education Department believes that parents are important contributors and partners in the special education process. We are committed to working with you to develop plans and programs that are focused on your individual child's success.

It is important that all information and procedures are provided to you in order for you to be an active member of your child's team. Below are several links where you can find information designed to help parents learn more about the special education process and their rights and responsibilities.

We encourage you to learn as much as you can. You can always talk with your child's teacher, counselor, the school psychologist, or principal. If you need more assistance, please contact the Nogales Unified Student Services Director.
