Brad Beach
Brad Beach, a 1984 graduate of Nogales High School, has been teaching 24 years, the last six at Pierson Vocational High School. He was recognized at the Nogales Unified School District's May 1 board meeting for his exceptional service to the district.
If the name "Beach" sounds familiar to those who have or are obtaining an education locally, that is because Brad Beach's father Chester taught at NHS, his mother Mary Jo at Lincoln Elementary School, and his wife Alejandra, his daughter Elysse, and brother Scott all teach at Francisco Vasquez de Coronado. Sister Kristi is a teacher at Desert Shadows Middle School and another sister, Mary, teaches at Coatimundi Middle School in Rio Rico.
Brad Beach has a Bachelor of Science degree from Western New Mexico University and a Master's degree in Bilingual Education from Northern Arizona University. Supt. Fernando Parra praised him for his dedication to the alternative school and for his service outside of the school such as serving on the District's Insurance Committee.
